Product Details

The EMT compression connector is typically made of steel and consists of two main components: a compression body and a compression nut. The compression body is threaded on one end to fit into the threaded opening of an electrical box or enclosure. The other end of the compression body is designed to accept the EMT conduit. To make the connection, the EMT conduit is inserted into the compression body, and the compression nut is then threaded onto the compression body. As the compression nut is tightened, it compresses the EMT conduit against the compression body, creating a tight and secure connection.

The EMT compression connector provides several benefits in electrical installations. It ensures a secure attachment between the EMT conduit and the electrical box or enclosure, preventing the conduit from coming loose or disconnecting. It also provides a means of grounding, allowing for proper electrical continuity throughout the system.
