Exothermic Weld Joint For Cable To Rod – CR2
Exothermic welding process is a simple, efficient method of permanently bonding copper to copper or copper to steel. Exothermic connection provides permanent conductivity over the complete section due to molecular bonding between metal surfaces.
Product Details
Exothermic welding process is a simple, efficient method of permanently bonding copper to copper or copper to steel. Exothermic connection provides permanent conductivity over the complete section due to molecular bonding between metal surfaces. Exothermic welded joint carries more tensile strength than mechanical connections.
Exothermic welding is the method of using explosive thermochemical welding drugs in welding molds to bring the temperature at the mold up to nearly 3000°C to weld materials such as copper, steel… grounding piles, copper-plated steel piles, iron piles, copper piles with copper cables in the lightning protection grounding system, electrical safety grounding or lightning conductor connection.
Features
– Create connection between the Tape and the Copper/Aluminum Tape.
– Each cable size uses a different amount of welding material (see table).
– Each cable size uses a different welding mold (see table).
– 1 Welding mold clamp can be bent
